In 2024, The Display Group launched Bajan Artisanal, a brand dedicated to creating exquisite liqueurs that celebrate the vibrant flavours of Barbados. Handcrafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality, our current offerings include Grapefruit, Coconut, Banana, Pineapple and Sorrel liqueurs, with more exciting local flavours soon to join our collection.

Our current lineup includes:

Grapefruit: A zesty burst of fresh citrus that awakens your senses with every sip.

Banana: Rich yet mellow, capturing the true essence of ripe tropical bananas.

Coconut: Smooth and indulgent, perfect for a taste of the Caribbean

Rum & Falernum (locally known as Corn 'n Oil): We agree that the name is not appealing, but this classic Bajan cocktail neither contains corn nor oil. It’s made with the finest aged Barbados rum, falernum and a dash of aromatic bitters. Falernum is uniquely Bajan and was invented in Barbados in the 18th century. It was first made by blending rum, sugar, lime juice and spices, and it’s sweet, spicy and nutty. The rum looks a bit like oil when it added to the lighter coloured falernum, leading to the name. Pour over crushed ice and enjoy.

Rum Cocktail: Rum cocktails have been made in Barbados for centuries since sugar and rum have been produced here. The only way to truly enjoy a rum cocktail is to put it in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously – the longer the better. Then pour the frothy cocktail into a small pony glass or a shot glass and sip it slowly. This is a potent cocktail and should be consumed in small quantities. You have been warned!
